TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance

By using verditnxtgen.com or the VerdictNxtGen API, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the Service Is

VerdictNxtGen is an automated company risk assessment tool. It aggregates publicly available data (Wikipedia, company registries, WHOIS, news) and uses AI to generate a trust score and summary.

It is not a legal service, a background check provider, or a licensed due-diligence firm. Results are indicative only.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

• Scores are based on publicly available data which may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect
• A "Verified" score does not guarantee a company is legitimate in all respects
• A "Fraud" score does not constitute a legal finding of fraud
• We are not liable for any loss, harm, or decision made based on our scores
• Always independently verify before sharing personal documents or making financial decisions

4. Permitted Use

• Personal, non-commercial use for job seekers: permitted and free
• Commercial use (HR teams, staffing firms, enterprises): requires a Pro or Enterprise API key
• Embedding in third-party applications: requires an Enterprise plan and written agreement

5. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Use the service to defame, harass, or make false accusations against any company or person
• Scrape or bulk-download data beyond your API tier limits
• Resell API access or results without a written white-label agreement
• Use results in legal proceedings without independent professional verification
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or authentication

6. API Terms

• API keys are non-transferable and tied to one organisation
• We may suspend keys that violate these terms without notice
• Rate limits apply as described in the API documentation
• We reserve the right to change API pricing with 30 days notice

7. Intellectual Property

The VerdictNxtGen name, logo, scoring model, and API design are our intellectual property. The underlying data (Wikipedia, OpenCorporates, etc.) belongs to their respective owners. AI-generated summaries are generated using OpenAI's models and are provided "as is".

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerdictNxtGen and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after 30 days' notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
